Sunday marked the return of Father Time himself to active duty, a welcome sight for all familiar with SNEFL softball. David shook off the dust and pitched a gem of a game for springfield. Facing off against the great Holmes Giraldo. David held the high powered offense of the New London Hangovers to a paltry two runs.

Gotham Citi vs. Hartford

Split with the blond bomber Charlie on the mound Gotham was able to answer the superb batting of Hartford with impressive out fielding and a well disciplined infield. Gotham's batting prowess was on display as they took the first of two games.

As part of the opening day festivities, anyone wearing a league uniform will be able to access the host bar cover free! If you are in Springfield and looking to save a few dollars tonight, wear your uniform.
