Victory in Philadelphia!!

Hope everyone had a relaxing Memorial Day weekend. While most were laying low SNE was busy playing softball in Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell Classic. This is one of several regional tournaments SNE participates in.

This year we sent two teams, our C Travel Team and the Hangovers represented in D division.

The Hangovers had fun all weekend and ended up finishing in the middle of the pack.

New Haven's Pluse and New London's Hangovers hold onto first place!!

Sunday SNE was back in New Haven, but this week Pulse was the “hostess with the mostess”. A majority of the games were interleague matchups with Frank’s Place coming into Sunday’s action with a shot at reclaiming first place. In the other Interleague games York Street and Dev’s Place were pitted against each other, a sweep by Menard would give Pulse sole possession of first place.

Recreational Division Recap
This week saw the recreational division play on open fields for the first time this season. Again all teams were in double didgets in at least one of their games.

Play Ball!!

Welcome to the 2012 season. With the competitive games canceled I had the opportunity to drive to New London to introduce myself to our new team; Dev’s Place. It was nice seeing so many friends after a long winter. A special thanks to JD and Jeff for getting his team pumped up and ready to go. Frank’s Place had so much energy, Joe and Matt should be proud of his guys.
